When you're replacing a roof, ask us about Class 4 impact-resistant shingles from Atlas (StormMaster Shake and StormMaster Slate) and Owens Corning (Duration STORM and Duration FLEX). Class 4 is the highest impact rating under UL 2218, the industry's hail-impact test, and some insurance carriers offer a premium discount for installing a qualifying Class 4 roof. Discounts aren't guaranteed and depend on your insurer and policy, so we'd recommend confirming with your agent before you decide, and we're glad to give you the product documentation to bring to that conversation.
